Q.  How far in advance should I schedule the transport of my vehicle?
A.  We request that you schedule your move as soon as possible to insure that your car is moved within the time frame which best meets your schedule. However, if an immediate pick up is necessary, we can arrange for your vehicle to be picked up within 24 hours.

Q. What method of payments does DAS accept?
A.  DAS accepts credit cards, money orders or cashier's checks.

Q.  What is an oversize fee?
A.  Some vehicles are much larger than traditional passenger vehicles. Most full size SUVs fit in to this category. Because of the extraordinary dimensions, these vehicles take up the amount of space normally used for two vehicles, thus resulting in the need for an “oversize” fee.

Q.  Where will my car be picked up and delivered?
A.  DAS has over 100 terminals across the country. You can drop off and pick up your vehicle at one of these terminals or, for an additional charge, your vehicle can be picked up and delivery at a location more convenient for you, like your home or office.

Q.  Do I have to be present when we pick up or deliver your vehicle?
A.  Yes, we request you, or a designated person, be present upon pick up of your vehicle. An inspection is performed and a contract bill of lading must be signed. If you are not able to be there, please call our Customer Service at 1 800-826-1083 and they will be happy to help you.

Q.  What is door to door versus terminal to terminal service?
A.  DAS service option for a personal vehicle is door pick up and/or delivery. DAS operates a terminal network of over 100 locations throughout the US. If door to door service is requested, a local truck is dispatched to your desired and convenient location.

Q. How do I prepare my vehicle?
A. Please have a no more that 1/2 tank of fuel, remove all personal items from your vehicle, repair any chips and/or cracks in your windows and make sure your vehicle is prepared for changing weather conditions. For additional tips, see Before You Ship.
